Dentist Leaves ‘em Laughing
Tempe dentist David Lewis can now add comedy to his long
list of accomplishments, and the frivolity comes in the form of a wild
array of dental-themed songs on the absolutely silly new CD, Drill, Fill
and Bill.
Spawned from years of dues paying “under the lights,” the
album contains a myriad of insightful originals that only a DDS could
write. “I’d Rather Have a Baby” expresses perfectly
how so many feel about their dreaded trips to the dentist. “Little
Johnny” tells all about those precocious child patients who can
turn a simple cavity checkup into a professional gutcheck. “Why
Did You Want to Be a Dentist” is the unavoidable self analysis at
the end of a sole practitioner’s long day.
