Weekend Fiesta Bowl ArtWalk in Scottsdale

The annual "Fiesta Bowl ArtWalk" will once again liven up the streets of the Scottsdale Arts District on Sat., Jan. 3, 2009 from noon to 4pm. Hosted by the Scottsdale Gallery Association (SGA) in conjunction with the City of Scottsdale and sponsored in part by Phoenix Magazine, this year's 11th annual Fiesta Bowl ArtWalk promises lots of warm Arizona-style hospitality and artistry.

As always, dozens of fine art galleries will be open to the public, hosting receptions and artists of every style. Live music will be presented in part by Grand Lux Café, just one of the many fantastic restaurants providing free samples at the event. Awesome prize giveaways and other special doings will also be found along the ArtWalk route in celebration of the annual Tostitos Fiesta Bowl Football Classic.

You can find the Scottsdale Arts District along Main Street, Marshall Way, Stetson and Sixth Ave., just west of Scottsdale Rd., north and south of Indian School Rd. There are plenty of nearby free parking areas, and easy access to local hotels or famed Scottsdale eateries.
Additional information and a calendar of individual gallery events is available via the Scottsdale Arts District website at www.scottsdalegalleries.com.
